The Pembrokeshire Coast Path is a breath-taking trail that winds along the rugged southwest shoreline of Wales. Nestled within Britain's sole coastal National Park, this trail, the first of its kind in Wales, continues to captivate outdoor enthusiasts with its unparalleled beauty. The western section spans from Dale to Strumble Head, near Fishguard, showcasing a unique convergence of geological wonders, vibrant birdlife, diverse animal species, and a rich tapestry of plant life. Nowhere in England or Wales will you find a more vibrant sea-bird sanctuary than along this coast. From spring to early summer, be enchanted by a profusion of wildflowers, witness seals basking on the shores during winter and early spring, and witness their endearing pups in the autumn. If luck is on your side, you might even catch a glimpse of dolphins frolicking in the waves.
The Pembrokeshire Coast Path National Trail, an awe-inspiring 186-mile route, unveils some of Britain's most varied coastal panoramas. While we don't cover the entire National Trail, our holiday encompasses approximately 70 miles of the western section. Starting from the picturesque village of Dale in the south and progressing northward to Pwll Deri, each step is a symphony of marvellous scenery. Our journey commences in Dale, meandering past the idyllic Marloes Beach, unveiling a treasure trove of coves, inlets, cliffs, and beaches, until we arrive at Pwll Deri, renowned for its youth hostel offering unparalleled coastal views.
