Group organiser FAQ

• What is the minimum group size for a private group holiday?

  You need a minimum of eight people to book a private group holiday with us. Once you have your eight, you have access to our full range of 300+ itineraries across the UK, Europe and worldwide, all bookable on an exclusive, private basis.

• Will our group travel alone, or will other travellers join us?

  Your group travels entirely alone. A private group holiday is separate from our standard small-group departures. You have your own dedicated guide and you will not be joined by any other travellers at any point.

• What if our group has mixed walking abilities?

  This is one of the most common concerns groups have, and it is entirely manageable. Many of our itineraries offer different grades of walking on the same trip, meaning stronger walkers can take a more challenging route while others enjoy a gentler option, before the group comes together again. • Can we choose any of your holidays, or is the choice limited for private groups?

  Every single one of our holidays is available to book as a private group. That includes all itineraries across our four Collections, Classic, Adagio, Discover, and Self-Guided, in every destination we operate. You have complete freedom of choice.

• Is organising a private group holiday complicated?

  Not with us. Once you get in touch, Mel takes the lead. She and the team handle the itinerary, logistics and communication, keeping everyone on track so you do not have to. Most group organisers tell us the experience is far smoother than they expected.

• Is there a discount for private groups?

  Yes. All private groups of eight or more receive a 5% discount as standard. There are no credit card fees, no single room supplements on selected tours, and full financial protection through ATOL, ABTA, and AITO.

• Are there any rewards for the person who organises the group?

  There are. Once your first group holiday is confirmed, you will receive a £50 Ramble Worldwide travel voucher to use on a future holiday. Book a second group and you will receive a £75 voucher, and a third earns you £100. It is a small thank you for the effort that goes into pulling a group together.

• Can we book Hassness Country House as a private group?

  Yes. Hassness Country House in the Lake District is available to hire on a fully catered, exclusive-use basis for groups of the right size, for 3, 4 or 7 nights at various times throughout the year. Contact us to discuss availability and pricing.

• Can Ramble Worldwide come and talk to our club or group?

  We would love to. We are happy to attend your AGM or any social gathering to share a short presentation about our holidays, our Collections, and our responsible travel ethos. There is no charge. Just get in touch to arrange a date.

• How do we get started?
