What does this mean?
Overview
The Camino dos Faros is a 200km walking route that connects Malpica to Finisterre by sea that passes by all the lighthouses and main points of interests along the Costa da Morte. This hiking route will bring you past dunes, rivers, cliffs, beaches catching wildlife and fishermen in action.
This route takes in the rugged coastline and due to that can be challenging at times with the option to take shortcuts where possible. Walking in North West Galicia it is hard to ignore the vast amount on seafood available and it is recommended to try the local cuisine along your journey.
You will also recognise that the weather in Galicia is not like the rest of Spain, and it is not to far from the weather in England, which gives the region the name "Green Spain".
