Rannerdale and Buttermere

A classic walk through one of the most picturesque corners of the Western Lake District. Starting at Lanthwaite, the route follows the shores of Crummock Water before entering the beautiful valley of Rannerdale, famed for its carpet of bluebells in spring. Optional Excursions

At your destination, you may have the option to book various local excursions and activities through a local operator.
