Southern Africa is a region of sublime contrasts. The sinuous waterways of Botswana’s Okavango Delta and the wildlife that lives here seem a world away from the vineyards knitting the hillsides of the Winelands and cosmopolitan buzz of Cape Town in South Africa. Each place is full of rich experiences and adventure though; there’s truly something for everyone.

It’s a fantastic centre for experiencing safaris and watching wildlife – we’ll take you on a game drive in the Addo National Park with an expert ranger in search of everything from meerkats to elephants, and you might spot southern right whales from a coastal walk in Hermanus.

In contrast, Cape Town provides an urban adventure with the chance to explore the V&A Waterfront, museums, and gardens at the heart of the city, before you take the cable car to the top of Table Mountain or head to the vast vineyards of Stellenbosch to sample the local vintages and toast your good taste.
