The Adagio Collection spans a wide range of destinations across Europe, each chosen for its accessibility, its beauty, and its depth of experience. Here's a flavour of what's possible.
Switzerland remains one of our most popular choices for easy alpine walking. In Wengen, a car-free village set beneath the Jungfrau, we combine leisurely meadow walks with cable cars and mountain railways that carry you up to the high peaks. The views are extraordinary, the pace is unhurried, and the setting is unlike anywhere else in the world.
Italy offers two very different Adagio experiences. In Tuscany, we spend a week discovering Florence, Siena, and the olive groves of Montecatini Terme, weaving food, wine, and art through the itinerary alongside the walking. In the Prosecco Hills of Veneto, we meander along Europe's first wine road through rolling vineyards, tasting as we go.
Crete features in our Adagio programme as Kissamos: A Cretan Delight, a Grade 3 holiday based on the island's unspoilt western coast. Here, the walking takes in coastal paths and traditional villages, while the itinerary builds in time to explore the region's remarkable food, history, and scenery at leisure.
Elsewhere in the collection, you'll find Adagio holidays in the Dolomites, in the Greek islands, and in the Swiss Alps. The range is genuinely broad, and we add new destinations regularly.
