Holiday Highlights

  • Indulge in an array of delightful walks along quiet Sardinian footpaths and secluded islands.
  • Explore the trails with your expert local guide Claudio for an authentic Sardinian adventure.
  • Unwind at our waterfront hotel, embracing a serene, laid-back coastal ambiance.
  • Explore inland mountains for a unique perspective on Sardinia's beauty.

Immerse yourself in the breathtaking beauty of northeast Sardinia's coastline, particularly the renowned Costa Smeralda, often hailed as one of Europe's most picturesque shores. The allure lies in its unspoiled charm, where each bend reveals pristine beaches, cerulean waters, and captivating rocky landscapes.

Sardinia, the Mediterranean's second-largest island, harbors a secret: its coastlines have remained untouched due to their former military use. Now, as armed forces have retreated, these natural wonders remain blemish free, offering a rare opportunity for exploration. The low mountains, rising merely 500 meters, boast trails and rock formations known to only a few intrepid hikers.

Your program of walks are crafted in collaboration with our knowledgeable local guide, Claudio. His expertise unveils not just little known paths, but the area's rich history, flora, and fauna. Participants who venture here in spring are greeted by a riot of colourful flowers. Some routes are near Claudio’s home town, San Pantaleo, while others meander along the coast or weave through hills, bordered by characteristic Mediterranean vegetation like tamarisk, myrtle, and rockrose. Inland, wind and rain have sculpted rocks into fascinating forms.

A highlight of the week is a ferry ride to La Maddalena island, followed by a stroll across the causeway to Caprera, where Giuseppe Garibaldi spent his final years. The trip is not just a physical exploration; it's an immersion in Sardinia's rich history, geography, nature, culture, and social life, all generously shared by our esteemed guide.

This experience promises more than a hiking adventure; it's an encounter with the essence of Sardinia, a chance to wander amidst its natural wonders and historical legacies, making it an unforgettable retreat in an idyllic paradise.
